Four steps to the grid

1. Run the setup file

   Run Apex-Setup-0.2.1-beta.exe. It isn’t code-signed yet, so Windows may say “Windows protected your PC”: click More info, then Run anyway. It installs for you only, no admin prompt.

2. Set up your radio

   Your name, what you race most, wheel or controller, then hold the button you’ll talk on. Pick clean or spicy talk, hear the voices, choose corners as plain words or turn numbers, and switch the mini-map on or off.

3. Beta needs no licence key

   Claude answers your questions in your first 10 races. Practice and qualifying never count. Claude answers up to 10 questions for each hour of a race (an hour's unused ones carry over), and 10 a day across practice and qualifying; after that the backup engineer answers. A race longer than an hour counts once for each hour started. After your 10 races the radio keeps going: calls, spotter and strategy never stop.

4. Start Le Mans Ultimate

   Apex connects by itself when you join a session. For the mini-map, set LMU to borderless or windowed.
